On June 2nd 2007 the Ham family and extended family met Ryan, Dennis, and of course the Blackdog "Winston " at the dock.  Up until the day before the weather was not looking very promising.  Ryan and I spoke and we decided to go for it and keep the
date.  We arrived at the dock and the ocean was like glass.  Ryan asked if we wanted to make the trek out, offshore and with a shake of the head from  Dennis the mate, we were motoring out of the mouth to one of his fishing holes off shore.

This day was all about the kids I have never seen two men work harder getting these kids fish.  There was no pressure or problems if a fish was lost or a rig tangled around another rig the line was fixed, rebaited, and put back in the water.  I have
been on many, many charters and have never been on one like this.  As the day wore on the captain and mate became friends as if you have known them for years.  The blackdog of course was the center of attention and never failed to take a sniff or a
snack of clams (ooh).  We ended the day fishing in the Merrimack for striper.  of course we caught them including a keeper. 

I would highly recommend BLACKDOG CHARTERS for anyone who just wants to have fun and catch fish.  This was the most kid friendly charter I have ever been on.  My two children are walking billboards for the BLACKDOG.   We hope to be joining them
again this summer for tuna.  As you read and see Ryans website you will hear him say the words "friends" an awful lot.  I truly feel we made two new friends that day, Three including the Blackdog.

You guys rock! Chris and I had a fantastic time and couldn't of had more fun if we caught 100 fish.

Here we are back to the regular scheduled office hours. :o( - ah well part of life – so it is all good. We all had such a blast on July 3rd!! That was an EXCELLENT decision on our part to do a charter with you. Ryan, you & Dennis were so courteous, professional and accommodating – we all will be recommending you to anyone & everyone! It was a PERFECT day! One of the top TB memories for sure!!

Black Dog Charters Rules !

Ryan and Dennis love to fish, and they do not know the meaning of the word “quit”.
No Charter you will ever go out and will work harder to put you on fish, than Black Dog Charters !
That’s what they are all about – Sharing their love of fishing !
I’m even thinking about putting off a few maintenance needs on my boat until next year, so I can spend another day or two out with these guys fishing this season.

Nobody loves Tuna Fishing more than these guys !

First might I begin by stating that August 16th, 2007 will go down in history as our best day on the the water!!! I can speak for all of us, Mike & Dawn Timlin along with my wife thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with you & the crew of the Black Dog! Who would have thought that within 15 minutes of wetting our lines that we would boat an 80 pound Blue Fin Tuna!

The whole experience was nothing less than spectacular. As I had said in an earlier email to you, you have made new lifelong friends. Your knowledge of "getting the big one" is rivaled by none. Dennis was exemplary & we would not hesitate to pass along any friends who would like to encounter the fishing trip of a lifetime.

Hey Ryan, Dennis, & Winston how's the fishing been?
I just wanted to thank you again for my third trip this season. I really can't beleive the awesome power that giants have. Man that was something. Anyway I just wanted to thank you for the most memorable day I've ever spent on the water, and I've spent many,many hours.
You and Dennis are by far the two most determined guys I've ever fished with. I've never been on any charters that have put that amount of time & effort into making sure we are going to have a great experience. The whales and the sea turtle alone made it  worth the trip.
I can honestly say that I did not just charter a boat but invested into a true friendship with the best in the business and couple of genuinally nice people (and dog).
